Highly detailed 1/35 scale assembly model kit of the LVTP-5 (Landing Vehicle, Tracked, Personnel - 5), a variant of the LVT-5, a Vietnam War era amphibious armored-fighting-vehicle operated by the United States Marine Corps. LVT-5 was a further development of the World War II era LVT-3 and LVT-4, but the LVT-5 was a considerably larger vehicle capable of carrying up to 34 combat troops. First entered service in 1956, over 1,100 LVT-5 of all variants were produced. LVTP-5, an armored personnel carrier, was the most common variant of the LVT-5. This AFV Club 1/35 scale assembly kit features: Markings for U.S. Marine Corps and R.O.C. Marines versions. Multi-link tracks. Hatches can be opened.
